For the purposes of tenancies in the Apple Building priority is given to employees of Manchester City Council (which includes school staff), employees of the emergency services (Police, Fire and Ambulance) and NHS employees.

Yes you can. You would be the lead tenant with your friend as an additional tenant. Your flat mate however would not need to be a key worker.

No, there is room for one vehicle for each apartment. Second vehicles can only be parked by arrangement with other tenants.
The apartments are not furnished. However, the kitchens are fully fitted, see below. Blinds are provided for all windows.
The kitchens are fitted with oven, hob and extractor, along with a freestanding fridge/freezer. See below re washers
An on-site laundry is provided which is open 24 hours per day. Use of the machines (two large load washers and dryers) is subject to a charge. Unfortunately it is not possible to have washing machines fitted in the apartments.
Yes, terrestrial TV sockets are standard and there is a communal Sky dish. Tenants can speak to Sky directly in order to have a Sky box installed, however Sky Plus is not available due top refurbishment of the system being carried out prior to the introduction of this service.
Yes, there are BT points within each apartment, plus a high-speed IT connection
A communal study area (with chairs and tables) plus IT access points. A fully fitted gymnasium is available on the ground floor.
The Heating is from electric panel heaters.
The lift is quite large (13 person; as opposed to the usual 8 persons). If an object is too big for the lift, the stairs is the next route.
